They Call it a Hostage Plant?

Well, from the very first day of tree planting I have heard of hostage plants but had never experienced one until yesterday. Yesterday It rained a lot and there were many bugs to suck my blood but I think the hardest thing about it was that it lasted almost 14 hours. Just as a hostage is a person who is held in one space and it not able to leave; our camp(meaning all the crews) were told that our contract was ending so we had to plant the rest of the trees. It felt like the longest day ever. It was not only hard work but also very confusing because there were 60 people planting in one area. We did get about 10 archers done in about 45 min but not without crossing each others lines and getting turned around. We got it done and are now moving camps about 5 hours north of Prince George.
